This is the second wrap I have bought for myself, along with 4 other ones in the short version for each of my bridesmaids. I love the wrap more than the kimono because its thicker, heavier, and has a lined later. I love the velvet trim as it makes for a much more luxurious feel and pretty much live in this at home! We are so thrilled to be able to share photos after the wedding and are so thankful Kim + Ono have made such gorgeous pieces that support the AAPI community as well.
When I first slipped into it, I immediately became a turn-of-the-century bohemian. It is buttery and has good weight...and I would wear it continuously if I weren't afraid of wearing it out. It is luxurious, silky...the velvet is soft like, well, velvet should feel. The seams are meticulous. I am picky, picky and good seams just make me starry-eyed. If you love Boho, this robe is a life-changer in a float-around-the-house kind of way. Highly recommend!
The print quality and color are stellar, with a silky lining, and dark velvet that leaves black holes envious. I feel like a deserving high priestess wearing it!
Feels comfortable and so soft that I just want to be wrap in it all day.
Bought this for my daughter’s bday recently because she loved my Kimono so much and was “borrowing” too much. I find her now most late nights wearing hers whilst listening to Stevie Nicks and dancing away. Now we both wear our Kimonos and dance into the late nights. Thank you for giving me such good memories and feeling a bit of a rock star.
