Kim + Ono exceeded my expectations with its quality kimono! My wife says its comfortable and she loves the print! It's lightweight enough that it's not too hot but still keeps her cozy. I look forward to purchasing the same print but in the short robe this time just to have a secondary option! Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a stylish, comfortable, and quality Kimono!
Purchased the washable silk. Washed it on gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent. Ruined! Shine faded and texture became rough. That was $250 in the trash. I bought another. I’d like to know how to care for it properly. If I cannot figure it out, I’ll return. Please help.
I have bought 7 kimonos and this one disappointed me so much and the customer service in my case was terrible and they did not answer my email.
The others I bought were what I expected but this one was the most expensive and disappointing.
Hi Ruth, thank you for your feedback! It sounds like perhaps the email our team sent you on 12/14/21 may have gone to your SPAM folder or Promotions tab. Please double check those folders as we followed up again to hopefully hear back from you! Thanks so much!
I recently purchased this robe. I was unsure whether to get the washable silk or a less expensive fabric. I wish I could have done a side-by-side comparison to see if it was worth the money, but I can say the silk is lovely. I was also on the fence on sizing. I am 5'6, 200 lbs, size 14. I bought the plus size because I wanted to make sure I could keep it wrapped around me while sitting down/lounging. It's a little too big on me, but perhaps is even more luxurious feeling due to that fact. I think if you are a size 12 or under, you would be happiest with the regular size. If you are size16 or over, you should probably get the plus size if you are worried about coverage. If you are a size 14, you can go either way and need to decide if you want it more fitted while standing, or big and loose for lounging. Hope this helps someone else!
I only bought one at first because I'm usually wary of fabric quality when it comes to silk. I chose the curvy washable silk style so I could make sure it would completely wrap around me. I'm a 34DD, hourglass figure (5' 5.5") and this fits so comfortably! I could probably go with the standard robe, but I like to live in silk robes while at home and prefer to wear a bit more fabric to avoid the Deep V syndrome. This silk is super beautiful and I love the butterfly art. It's gorgeous! I just bought 3 more robes now that I know the quality is exceptional.
